In addition the door action has a shock absorber to slow the movement of the door for added safety. The unit runs for hundreds of openings on a plain set of 4 AA batteries. Our advanced 'i-key' (included), allows you to open your safe if you have forgotten your code and has the added feature of allowing you to power the safe externally in the event your batteries run down. Hardware is also included so the safe may be bolted to any surface for added security and a protective dust cover is included for storage of the safe when it's not in use.
